Aww... That sweet, tangy and vinegary taste freshes bites of any sandwiches. What's the best side item for a sandwich? Not chips or fries for me, pickle that is. Yes, pickle or pickles. My favorite pickle is from Joan's on 3rd. It's a sweeter taste, not so tangy and it's just refreshing when you bit into it. It's time for me to pay another visit..

IP MAN
Not another kung fu movie, really? At least this one is nothing like Jackie Chan's movie with funny line "I don't want no trouble." Based on a true story, Ip Man is a master of martial art, Wing Chun, who is respected by many martial artists and fighting icons like Bruce Lee. The movie sets in China during Japan's occupancy in 1938. The costume design is true to the time period with a touch of fashion. It was a time when western culture and Chinese culture mixed together. Or should we say "Fusion?"

WWII BIKES
Bikes in WWII, I am not talking about motorcycles with side cars. I am talking about 2 wheels and peddle-by-foot bikes. These bikes got my attention while I was surfing online, then I dug into its history. Bicycle helped Japanese Imperial Army capturing Singapore in Feb 15th 1942. Lieutenant-General Tomoyuki Yamashita of Imperial Army knew he needed to capture Singapore fast in a 40,000 men VS 90,000 British troops battle and short on supplies. Bicycle was the whip for IA in jungle fight. Germany told IA that in order to take over Singapore, a 100,000 men army and 18 months of time were needed. Lieutenant-General Tomoyuki Yamashita captured it with 40,000 men and 2 months of time. Gotta give it up for Samurai spirit.

MGD 64
Okay, I admit it. I do look out calories when I drink beer now. MGD 64 is in my fridge now. 15 of them. Maybe the catchy commercial hunt me down (money well spent, Miller!). I love it's taste compare to other light beer out there. Some lite beers out there are too watery or just don't taste like beer at all. MGD 64 surprises me with it's low calories and full taste. Of course, its taste can't compare with other non-lite beers. Give it a try, 64 may just end up in your fridge soon.
(Now send me a few cases of beers, Miller)

HANDKERCHIEF
Handkerchief, I haven't seen this around for ages, or at least not any of my friends carry one. When I was little, my dad always carried a handkerchief in his back pocket. He still does it. It even has his initial embroidered on it. It's such a gentleman thing. Nowadays people just wipe their wet hands on their jeans, one good thing about dark jeans, eh?
